City of Charlotte Curfew: 

Beginning Sept. 23, 2016, a curfew will be imposed at midnight until 6 a.m. each evening and to continue until the end of the State of Emergency is declared or until the Proclamation is revoked. 

     This could be happening in your own city: one, with a population of eight hundred thousand in a democratic country and, within what we call bad first world. Imagine, wake up one day and hear speakers on military vehicles announcing that part of our rights; those for which our ancestors have tended to fight and even die, are suspended because centuries later people are still dying againg defending equality  in a street demonstration. However, is even worse to think that many people continue to die due to the color of their skin in a country that lives in contradiction with himself; in a city: Charlotte, where his consistory council composed of four black and eight white It is representative of the social fracture in which 35% of the black population do not vote for white councilors (35% of 12 councilors are 4.2) and the remaining 65% do not vote to black councilors.
